Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Traneos ("we", "us") and apply when you download, install or play Robot Survival (the "Game") or use this website. By playing the Game, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
If you downloaded the Game from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and to purchases made through Google Play.
Testing phase
Robot Survival is currently in its testing phase. Features, balance and content may change at any time. All progress made during testing, including currencies, items and other virtual content, will be reset when the Game is first publicly released. Nothing from testing carries over, except that a purchase Google Play still lists as yours, such as a permanent upgrade or an active VIP membership, can be restored with the same Google account. Used purchases, such as Energy Crystal packs, are not restored. Any tester rewards will be described in the Game.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
The Game creates a guest account for you automatically. You can link it to Google Play Games to keep your progress across devices. You are responsible for activity on your account and on devices you sign in to. A guest account that is not linked to Google Play Games may be lost if you uninstall the Game, clear its data or change devices. We cannot always recover it.
License to play
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or lease the Game or any part of it. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
Game content and intellectual property
The Game and its content, including its characters, artwork, music, sound effects, text, software and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
The Game includes third-party software, including the Godot Engine (MIT License), the Oxanium typeface (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and Google services, each under its own license terms. Those licenses apply to those components instead of these Terms where they conflict.
You may capture, share and stream screenshots and videos of your own gameplay, including on channels you monetize, such as YouTube, Twitch or TikTok. You may not sell the Game or access to it, distribute its files or soundtrack on their own, or suggest that we endorse you or your content. We may ask you to remove content that breaks these Terms.
Virtual currencies and items
The Game includes virtual currencies and items such as Credits, Energy Crystals, Supply Keys, Elite Supply Keys, equipment and talents ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items:
- are licensed to you as part of your license to play. You do not own them.
- have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services, except where the law requires otherwise.
- cannot be transferred, sold or traded to other players or accounts.
- may be changed, rebalanced or removed as the Game is updated.
Rewards, including Operation and Challenge results, login rewards, missions, events and Supply Pod contents, are decided by our server. If a reward is granted by mistake or through an error, abuse or exploit, we may correct or remove it.
Supply Pods grant randomized equipment. The drop rates for each pod are shown in the Game before you open it.
Purchases and subscriptions
The Game is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases, such as Energy Crystal packs, bundles and the Monthly VIP membership. Purchases are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service, and prices are shown in your local currency as provided by Google Play. A purchase is granted only after Google Play has confirmed it and our server has verified it.
Monthly VIP membership is a subscription that renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your VIP benefits continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, then they stop. Energy Crystals, talents and other rewards already granted are kept.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies. You can request one from your Google Play order history. Except as required by those policies or by law, purchases are final. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund right you have under the law of the country where you live.
If a purchase is refunded, reversed or charged back, we may remove the Virtual Items or benefits it granted.
Advertisements
The Game offers optional rewarded ads served by Google AdMob, for example to revive once per run, redraw a level-up hand or double a victory's Credits. Ads are never forced. Rewards are granted only when the ad network confirms that the ad was completed. Ad availability depends on your region, your consent choices and the ad network, and we cannot guarantee that an ad will always be available.
Fair play and prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- cheat, or use bots, hacks, modified clients, emulators intended to cheat, or any unauthorized third-party software;
- exploit bugs or errors to gain an advantage, or fail to report an exploit you discover;
- tamper with the device clock, save data, network traffic or server requests to obtain rewards;
- interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other players' accounts;
- buy, sell or trade accounts or Virtual Items outside the Game; or
- use the Game in a way that breaks the law or these Terms.
If you break these rules, we may remove rewards obtained improperly, reset progress, or suspend or terminate your account.
Availability, updates and changes
Starting Operations and Challenges and receiving rewards need an internet connection. We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the Game or any part of it. When a new version is available on Google Play, you may have to install it before you can keep playing. A run in progress is never interrupted for an update. We do not guarantee that the Game will always be available or free of errors. If we decide to shut down the Game permanently, we will give reasonable notice in the Game or on this website.
Termination
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account in the Game (Settings → Account) or as described on the Delete Account page. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription or refund past purchases, so cancel any VIP membership in Google Play first. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Game. When your account ends, your license and your Virtual Items end with it, except where the law requires otherwise.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress or Virtual Items. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid for purchases in the Game in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Governing law and disputes
Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@robotsurvival.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the next sentence, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Game. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in its courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the Game or by other reasonable means. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
